Q: What is the group minimum and admission requirements?
A: Group rates are available for groups of fifteen or more with at
least a 24 hour advance reservation. Picnics must have a minimum of
15 and require a two week notice. Groups not pre-ticketed must
enter the park together with a one payment transaction. Sorry,
individual will-call tickets cannot be arranged. Tickets are usually
sent to you in advance for group distribution prior to arrival
at the park. Your final pricing per ticket will be based on all
tickets delivered to you minus any tickets you return to us.
Returned tickets must be received by our finance department within
two weeks after your event.
Q: Can billing arrangements be made?
A:
Yes, by advance arrangement only. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required and credit
must be pre-approved. Contact us for more information.
Q: Can extra tickets be provided the day of the outing?
A:
Yes, the group leader can get additional tickets at the group sales ticket window;
however, in order to expedite your group's entry, we suggest that you initially order
extra tickets and return any unused tickets after the event.
Q: What is the group meal minimum and arrangements?
A:
Group meals are available for groups of 15 or more with at least two weeks prior
notice and a 25% deposit. The group must commit to a minimum number of meals at least
48 hours prior to the event. Food and beverage services will be prepared for the
guaranteed number plus 10%. All charges will be based on the guaranteed number of
meals or the actual number of meals served, whichever is greater. Colored wristbands
are provided in advance for distribution to all meal recipients and worn upon entry
to the park. Bands are not to be removed until meal service is over.
Q: Can arrangements be made for individual group members to eat at
any Silverwood-Boulder Beach food outlet whenever they wish?
A:
Yes. "Silverwood dollars" can be purchased in advance in one dollar and five dollar
increments for distribution to group guests prior to park entry. These can be spent
anywhere, anytime in the parks during the 2008 season and are treated as cash by us.
Q: How does the picnic buffet meal service work?
A:
Buffet line service is provided for groups of 15 or more in the pavilion kitchen.
Meal service time is one hour. If you would like to use a pavilion for more than your
above specified time, extended beverage and meal service is available.
Q: How will my group know their pavilion number and meal time?
A:
The pavilion number and meal time will be on your contract, so you can inform your
group prior to your event. This information will also be posted at the entrance to
the country carnival and thunder creek picnic grove.
Q: Can picnic food be brought into the park?
A:
Outside food and drinks cannot be brought into Silverwood or Boulder Beach; however,
picnic tables are available for use adjacent to our RV park.
Q: Are swim suits allowed in Silverwood?
A:
Sorry, for the safety of our guests, swimsuits are not allowed in Silverwood.
Swimsuits can only be worn in Boulder Beach. Throughout Silverwood, shirts and shoes
are required attire.
Q: What is covered by the admission price?
A:
Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Water Park are pay-one-price parks.Two parks
for one price. All rides, shows and attractions are included in the price of
admission (parking, games, food and merchandise are exempt). (See operating schedules
