FAQ
Q: Do I need to make a ticket reservation to use my tickets?
A: If you have purchased tickets before May 23rd, 2020, then you DO NOT need to make a reservation to use your tickets. Starting May 23rd, all online tickets must make a reservation in order to visit the park this year. Season passes and Read 2 Ride ticket do not need to make a reservation to visit the park.
Q: Will I be turned away at the gate due to capacity restraints?
A: No, you will not be turned away at the gate. We will limit the capacity of the park by limiting the number of reservation tickets available for purchase. How will we do that? We are able to predetermine and account for the average number of daily tickets that are purchased at the gate, group tickets, Read 2 Ride tickets, season passes, pre-purchased tickets, etc. With that information we can then limit the number of reservation tickets to make sure we stay under the capacity limit.
(Example: Say our capacity is 100 guests. We know that on average 10% of our attendance is purchased at the gate, 10% groups, 10% Read 2 Ride, 10% season passes, and 10% pre-purchased tickets. That would leave 50% or 50 tickets available to be purchased via reservation tickets.)
Q: Is Silverwood open if it is raining?
A: Yes, Silverwood is open rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, we will take safety precautions and temporarily shut down some of our tall attractions. Once the storm passes through, we will open the attractions back up to the public once it is safe to do so.
Q: Are pets allowed at Silverwood?
A: Because of safety issues, no pets are allowed at Silverwood only service animals are allowed inside the park. For the health of your pet, do not leave them in the car while you’re in the park.
Q: Do you have strollers & wheelchairs for rent?
A: Yes, strollers, wheelchairs and electric ECV wheelchairs are all available, for rent, at the information center on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Q: How many people must be in my group to get a discount?
A: Groups of 15 or more can receive discounted admission to Silverwood by booking a visit 72 hours in advance. For more information, visit our Groups page Here.
Q: Do you pay extra to get into the Boulder Beach Water Park?

Q: Can I get a discounted price if I just want to go to Boulder Beach?
A: Silverwood and/or Boulder Beach are not sold individually. Your admission ticket covers both parks when Boulder Beach is open. (Click Here for a complete schedule.)
